Virgin to Open 'World's Fastest Check-In'
Virgin Atlantic has announced it will provide the world's fastest check-in for premium passengers. The trans-Atlantic airline will launch the new system at Heathrow on November 2nd.
Virgin's new Upper Class Wing at Terminal 3 will take passengers by limousine to the departure lounge within ten minutes.
Steve Ridgway, chief executive at Virgin Atlantic, said: "Our new Upper Class Wing will enable our business passengers to fly through check in, whizz through security and lounge in the Clubhouse.
"It will be a fast, efficient and stress-free experience, which will save precious time at the airport. It will be very quick and refreshing for our Travellers, compared with other airlines."
The airline will also provide a revamped check in area for economy and premium class passengers later this year, featuring self-service machines and bag-drop desks.
Virgin Atlantic offers Holidaymakers a range of long-haul business class and economy flights around the world to destinations including the US, Africa, The Caribbean and Sydney.
