Travellers Share Their Experiences Online

Travellers Share Their Experiences Online A new social networking site has been launched to allow travellers to share their experiences online.

Doyoutravel.com allows companies to promote their services to consumers through classified adverts, videos, blogs and profiles, as well as giving holidaymakers a place to communicate with other travellers.

One of the site's creators, Mark Garwell, told TravelMole.com: "With Doyoutravel.com we have removed the myths of social network marketing and the barriers to entry for business.

"Businesses now have a free to use fully editable content management system and direct access to one of the fastest growing travel communities on the internet."

He added that companies and holidaymakers using the site can be as "social or introverted" as they like.

Travellers looking for ideas can use the site's "events" section to find out what is going on around the globe.

Current holiday ideas featured are the Rio Carnival Parade on February 9th 2008, the Notting Hill Carnival on the 24th August 2008 and spending New Year's Eve in Prague.

Other sections of the site allow users to chat with other online members, join clubs such as "petition to get Concorde in the skies again" and upload videos of their recent travels or properties they have to rent out.
