Ski Resorts Open Early In Europe and America

Ski Resorts Open Early In Europe and America A number of ski resorts in Europe and North America have been able to open early this year, it has emerged.

Unusually heavy snowfall has meant that resorts in Austria, Norway, Switzerland the US and Canada can welcome skiers on to slopes earlier than expected.

Certain destinations have seen "exceptional snow depths for this time of year", according to firsttracksonline.com.

Alyn Morgan from the Ski Club of Great Britain said this year's winter skiing "really feels like it is upon us".

He continued: "It bodes well for good early-season conditions and hopefully good snow cover for the festive period."

Meanwhile an insurance expert from esure has advised Holidaymakers planning to take part in adrenalin sports to check the small print of their insurance policies before they book.

Insurance expert, Asia Manzoor said it is "crucial" to obtain adequate cover for any eventualities because a failure to do so could result in a "hefty bill" following a medical emergency.
