Service Upgrades On London Route For Oman Air

Service Upgrades On London Route For Oman Air The Heathrow Airport to Muscat airport route that Oman Air flies has been improved with new services for passengers.

Oman Air has adopted a traditional three tier system with economy class cabins as well as first and business upgrades to its Airbus A330-300s. The daily flights will also have brand new menus and entertainment for holidaymakers and travellers onboard.

With the aim of elevating first class travel to the status of flying in a private jet, the first class cabin of the airline boasts some luxurious features. There are just six seats in first class, a lounge area and space to convert the seats into the longest lie-flat beds of any mainstream airline.

The first class seats offer a wide berth, measuring 25.5 inches across, and are extremely comfortable thanks to an inbuilt massage system. Travellers can literally hang their coat up as there is sufficient space for this, before reclining in front of a 23-inch screen.

Business class offers travellers the luxury of lying flat with a mere 20 other passengers in large seats.

Economy class onboard Oman Air has 204 seats each with adjustable leg rests and head rests and a 10.4-inch television screen on the back of each seat, TravelMole reports.

Peter Hill, Oman Air CEO said: “With the introduction of the new three-class service from London, increasing passenger numbers and more exciting new destinations to be announced next year, the transformation of Oman Air is now a reality and we look forward to being the airline of choice for customers travelling from the UK to Oman and beyond.”
