New Virgin Aircraft to Give Travellers 'Enhanced Experience'

New Virgin Aircraft to Give Travellers Enhanced Experience Virgin Atlantic has promised its new aircraft will allow Travellers to enjoy "an enhanced experience".

The Airbus A380's large size should also enable more Holidaymakers to hop on board, according to the company.

"What we can say is that this aircraft type will give airlines the ability to use the additional space in an interesting way to enhance the passenger experience," commented Anna Knowles, the firm's head of PR.

"Virgin Atlantic always tries to ensure that it is able to offer unique features onboard any new aircraft type," Ms Knowles added.

The double-decker Airbus A380 is the world's largest passenger airliner, with its first commercial flight to be staged this week by Singapore Airlines.

Last week Virgin Atlantic announced plans to provide the world's fastest check-in for premium passengers, to be launched at Heathrow on November 2nd.

The new Upper Class Wing at Terminal 3 will allow passengers to "fly through check in, whizz through security and lounge in the Clubhouse", according to Steve Ridgway, the trans-Atlantic airline's chief executive.

Virgin Atlantic flies to over 20 destinations including Africa, Asia, The Caribbean and North America.
