New Online Operator for Greece and Cyprus

New Online Operator for Greece and Cyprus With some firms experiencing difficulties recently, there has emerged a gap in firms selling holidays to Cyprus and Greece.

This gap has now been filled by Dream Holidays, an online operator. The company is ATOL and ABTA bonded and initially is providing package holidays as well as flight only and accommodation deals.

These operate from both Manchester and Gatwick airports to Cyprus and Greece. The Greek island destinations comprise the most favourite that holidaymakers from the UK choose: Corfu, Crete, Kos, Rhodes, Zante and Santorini.

According to the managing director of Dream Holidays, Akis Kyprianou, the holidays that his company offer are value for money and fulfil a need in the marketplace.

He said: “There is now a lack of presence in the UK marketplace of specialist tour operators featuring the Eastern Mediterranean.” He continued to point that that the fall of certain operators over the past five years has led to a drop in holidays offered to the Greek islands and to Cyprus.

Mr Kyprianou believes his company has the capacity to meet the demand that is still there for holidays in this region of the world and relishes the opportunity to fill the shoes of those who have been unsuccessful. Since 2004, there has been a decrease in the number of operators offering holidays to these destinations.

He also welcomed the chance to work with Greek and Cypriot hoteliers to promote their country, who he maintained, will be pleased to support the venture.
