New Flights to Jersey and Pisa from London Luton Airport

New Flights to Jersey and Pisa from London Luton Airport New flights to Jersey and Pisa have been launched from London Luton by low-cost airline easyJet.

David Osborne, easyJet UK's general manager, said: "[These are] two popular destinations with something for everyone."

Flights to Jersey will operate daily, available from £21.99 one way including taxes, while flights to Pisa will begin at £23.99.

"Pisa boasts not just the legendary leaning tower but also several other attractions and is a perfect gateway to the stunning region of Tuscany and the nearby city of Florence," Mr Osborne added.

He described Jersey as "home to a stunning coastline", ideal for water sports enthusiasts, and called its main street a "shopper's delight".

The airline anticipates that it will carry 100,000 passengers on each of the new routes in the next 12 months.

In related news, Thomas Cook's Money Matters report, published this month, has revealed that many Brits consider taking a holiday as a necessity.

Furthermore, the report found that 12 per cent of people who travel overseas do so without insurance.
