Musical festival in Barcelona to entertain holidaymakers
People holidaying in the Spanish city of Barcelona this summer may have time to visit the popular Cruïlla Festival.
Held on August 30th, the one-day event brings together musical acts from across the world, all converging for one night of entertainment at the Catalan city's Parc del Fòrum.
Popular international artists will be on show, including Asian Dub Foundation and African music star Tiken Jah Fakoly in a diverse range of performances that the organisers say will appeal to all musical tastes, featuring drum and base, hip hop, and ragga.
Two Spanish acts will also entertain the crowds, while the grand finale will see the Always Drinking Marching Band closing the show with their ten-man extravaganza.
Recently, Travel Daily News reported that Barcelona is proving very popular with British tourists, ranking seventh on price comparison service PriceRunner's list of the most popular cities for European holidays.
