Monarch Adds Extra Flights to Tenerife over Easter
For those thinking of a Spring break in the sun, there is good news from no-frills carrier Monarch Airlines. The airline is to provide extra flights to Tenerife over the Easter holiday period.
The additional flights will operate on Fridays; 2 April, 9 April and 16 April, making a total of five flights for each of those days.
Flights leaving Manchester Airport for Tenerife on the same dates will operate on larger aircraft. The number of seats available will increase by 46 per cent.
The managing director of Monarch Flights and Holidays, Tim Jeans said: “We have seen continued demand for flights to Tenerife this Easter and the introduction of these additional services means an extra 3,000 seats will be available during this popular travel period.”
Mr Jeans added that the low fares combined with the high quality of his company’s service ensured that customers remained loyal. For those who had not yet booked their flights over Easter, the new seats represented “an even greater choice of low fare flights.”
According to the Monarch website the extra flights are available for booking right now.
Monarch Airlines operates a range of scheduled flights to a number of mainland Spanish destinations as well as to Turkey, Cyprus, Portugal, Gibraltar, and the Balearic and Canary Islands.
The airline offers affordable fares all year round and also makes available a range of reasonably priced meals that passengers can pre-book or purchase inflight. It is also possible to pre-book specific seats especially if passengers require facilities such as additional legroom, a facility not always available on other airlines.
