Hunt Continues For Glasgow Terror Suspects - Travel Delays Expected
Travel disruption is expected at airports across the UK this week, as security measures are tightened in the wake of the attempted car bombing at Glasgow airport.Five people were arrested at the weekend in connection with the attack, but it is thought that at least one more suspect is still at large.
While Glasgow airport reopened shortly after the incident, some flights were cancelled and travel disruption is likely as the UK's terror alert remains high.
Though Alex Salmond, Scotland's First Minister told BBC Radio 4's Today programme that life in Scotland was returning to normal, extra travel delays are expected, as police and security forces carry out additional searches and safety checks.
Prime minister Gordon Brown has confirmed that the attempted car bombings in Glasgow and London are the work of terrorist organisations.
He said that it was "clear that we are dealing, in general terms, with people who are associated with al-Qaeda".
