Honeymooners Like it Hot Others Choose Adventure
Some honeymooners like it hot while others opt for adventure, accordingto one industry expert this week.
Wedding website hitched.co.uk claims that Bangkok, Vietnam, America and
Australia have all grown in popularity for newlyweds looking for a "once
in a lifetime" experience.
Francesca Moore, spokesperson for hitched.co.uk, said: "Honeymoons do
vary depending on what type of couple you have, but the majority tend to
go for somewhere hot and exotic."
She explained that for those seeking sun The Maldives is always a
popular choice, with its "white sandy beaches and crystal blue sea".
"[However] an adventure safari in the deepest bush of Africa spotting a
lion or two in the morning, and then heading back to a luxurious five
star spa retreat for the rest of the day suits some couples down to the
ground," Francesca added.
According to statistics released by the Foreign Office 70 per cent of
British stag and hen parties are now held abroad.
