Holidaymakers Wising up to 'Fluctuating Exchange Rates'

Holidaymakers Wising up to Fluctuating Exchange Rates Holidaymakers are wising up to fluctuating exchange rates and working out where their money goes furthest, according to one expert.

Travelex.co.uk, a worldwide money business, said this week that people are looking outside the traditional European holiday hotspots to destinations where the sterling exchanges more favourably.

John Nicholas, director of Travelex.co.uk, said: "The rising strength of the Euro may have an impact on holidaymakers as people look outside the traditional Eurozone holiday hotspots.

"However, if people have already booked their trips to Europe there are ways to make sure they get the most for their holiday cash – one way is by pre-ordering their holiday cash."

He added that it can be "very difficult" to predict currency exchange rates and so advised customers to prepare their trips in advance to guarantee the best deals.

Travelex promises that if any of its customers can find a better price than it is offering then it will refund them the difference.
