Holidaymakers 'Can Enjoy Beaches All To Themselves In Thailand'
Holidaymakers to Thailand can currently take advantage of beaches and resorts which are unusually quiet and peaceful, a travel expert advises. The trend is in part due to the wider economic downturn but it also means that some great bargain Holidays to the country are emerging, reports Andrew Spinner in the Guardian.
He states that the country looks set to remain popular with Brits because it offers "excellent value, stunning locations and friendly people".
Mr Spinner continues: "Choose to visit now and you could experience the kingdom at its best - the palaces and temples of Bangkok are relatively deserted."
A visit to one of the country's many beaches could also be particularly appealing, he adds, where a traveller might be able to enjoy the "paradise" without anyone else in sight.
The Tourism Authority of Thailand has urged holidaymakers to celebrate the Chinese New Year in the country's biggest Chinatown district later this month.
Fashion shows, cultural demonstrations and fine cuisine are said to be among the many treats on offer in the Yaowarat Road area when the festival takes place between January 26th and 27th.
