Estonia 'Offers Good Spas and Health Services'

Estonia offers holidaymakers the chance to enjoy luxury spa treatments, great health services and hiking experiences, one expert has said this week.

According to Enterprise Estonia, the country attracts a large number of visitors from Scandinavia who are impressed by that nation's high levels of service.

Egert Anslan, director of Enterprise Estonia, said: "There are lots of possibilities for walking and hiking too."

He explained that because Estonia's landscape is flat and boasts lots of forests it reminds many people of the UK, giving them a home away from home experience.

"We have lots of untouched nature and we have very good national parks with walking tracks and you can go bird watching and hunting," Mr Anslan added.

Visitestonia.com reports that the nation's climate is moderate, with average temperatures in summer around 20.9 degrees centigrade.

Estonia's capital Tallinn also offers good air links to St Petersburg, Russia - which is just across the border - and Helsinki, Finland.
