Caravans 'Offer Everything a Holidaymaker Could Want'

Caravans Offer Everything a Holidaymaker Could Want Caravans offer Holidaymakers everything they could possibly want on a break, says one industry expert.

According to The Caravan Club, the common perception of the caravan IS "stuck in the seventies" when the modern caravan is in fact luxury on four wheels.

Nikki Nichol, head of PR at The Caravan Club, said that caravans "have progressed hugely".

She explained: "A lot of people's perceptions of caravanning are stuck in the seventies but if they were to go into a modern caravan today, you have got everything from under floor heating, to power showers; fixed beds; full-sized cookers, flat screen plasma televisions – there is everything you could want."

The National Caravan Council reports that in 2000 there were 520,000 touring caravans in the UK as well as 108,000 motor homes.

Holidaymakers with a caravanning passion can join the other one million motor caravan and trailer tent owners who use The Caravan Club to find quality parks to stay in.

The club also boasts the largest caravan insurance scheme.
