There are 30 beaches and coves in the area, he adds, so there is something to suit just about everyone.

Laguna Beach is an "attractive artists' community", he states, with interesting events taking place both in the town and on the beach itself.

The popular holiday destination is situated halfway between Los Angeles and San Diego and has around 25,000 residents, according to LagunaBeachInfo.com.

In addition to the "dozens" of arts and music events, it reports that it boasts an art museum and a theatre.
