Brits Obsessed With Holiday Bargains

Brits Obsessed With Holiday Bargains A new survey has shown that British Holidaymakers are so fixated on picking up great deals that they spend more time researching their trip than they actually spend abroad!

A study from Foundem showed that the average UK residents spends some 16 days researching their holiday online, while the average vacation lasts just nine days.

Two thirds of those surveyed said that they became preoccupied with constantly searching for the lowest holiday costs on the net, while 60 per cent confirmed that their obsession with the perfect holiday extended to checking weather forecasts every day.

The fascination with bargain deals has grown so much that 90 per cent of adults admitted that they would be angry to learn of a fellow holidaymaker having snagged a cheaper package than them.

A spokesman for the price comparison site said: "None of us wants to find that the person on the next sun bed has paid less for the identical holiday."
