Antigua Reveals Music Festival Plans
Lovebirds heading to the Caribbean may be pleased to hear that Antigua and Barbuda are launching a new festival, especially for them.
This year the first ever Romantic Rhythms Music Festival will take place between June 12th and 15th, providing those holidaying on the island with the perfect way to pass their time.
Acts lined-up to play so far include 80s soul singer Lionel Richie, the It Wasn't Me rapper Shaggy, and Keyshia Cole, as well as Kenny Rodgers, Maxi Priest, Brian McKnight, Destra Garcia, and Atlantik.
The artists will perform at the "iconic" Sir Vivian Richards Stadium and at Fort James, which, according to Breaking Travel News, is a "renowned scenic spot overlooking the ocean".
Festival goers feeling the love can buy tickets from the event's website for $50 (£25) as of May.
According to the Lonely Planet travel guide, Antigua has 365 beaches – one for every day of the year – and boasts reefs and ocean wrecks, which make it a diver's delight.
