All-Inclusive Holidays Suit a Variety of Different Customers
There is no such thing as a typical all-inclusive holiday as they vary vastly to suit a variety of Travellers, one expert has said this week.
According to the Association of British Travel Agents (ABTA), which represents over 6,000 travel agencies and 850 tour operations in the British Isles, different types of Holidays feature differing sports activities and excursions.
Frances Tuke, a spokesperson for ABTA, said: "There's a family market (for which) you tend to have water sports thrown in, it's full board, you have food, your drinks will be paid for.
"Then you have other kinds of all-inclusive holidays, which tends to appeal to the couples market."
She added that with all-inclusive breaks it is entirely possible to pay just one fee and not spend much more, although travellers should always some cash on them for emergencies.
Research conducted by youtravel.com found that there was a 70 per cent increase in bookings for all-inclusive Holidays in March and April this year, compared to September and October 2007.
