All-Inclusive Holidays Provide an Upfront Budget

All-Inclusive Holidays Provide an Upfront Budget All-inclusive breaks give Holidaymakers an upfront budget and provide them with a cheap way to see exotic locations, such as the Caribbean, one expert has said this week.

The Association of British Travel Agents (ABTA) made the claim, revealing that over the last five years the popularity of this type of holiday has rocketed by 25 per cent.

Frances Tuke, a spokesperson for ABTA, said: "The thing about all-inclusive packages it that you can budget totally upfront so you know exactly what you are paying for and all your essentials are covered in the upfront price."

She added that this can be a real benefit as it can be hard to budget in advance for drink and food in a foreign country, because the cost of this can be an unknown quantity.

Research published by youtravel.com recently revealed that bookings for all-inclusive Holidays on its website increased by 70 per cent in March and April.

Furthermore, self-catering breaks experienced a 105 per cent rise in popularity during the same months, compared with September and October 2007.
