Between March 21st and 30th, the Qatameya Sporting Club and Sky Club in New Cairo City will host the Petrosport International Women's Circuit tennis tournament, reports the Al-Ahram Weekly.

With over nearly 60 competitors from over 30 countries from around the globe battling it out for the cup from opposite sides of the net, some top sporting entertainment is on the cards for holidaymakers.

Egypt will be represented by Nihal Tarek while the neighbouring nation of Morocco will enter tennis aces Fatima Al-Allami and Jordanian Fatima Al-Nabhani in the contest.

Over recent years Egypt has emerged as a popular tourist destination and holidaymakers looking for a night of luxury may wish to check into the Four Seasons Sharm El Sheikh.

Zagat's 'World's Top Hotels, Resorts and Spas' 2007 to 2008 edition recently gave the resort a rave review, according to the hotel's website.

It reports the publication wrote: "There's no other place on earth like this fantastic resort that clings to the desert hillside that drops steeply into the Red Sea."
